Three Podcasts for PBR Fans

I know that there are going to be loads of people on the road this Australia Day long weekend, so whether you are heading to a Bull Ride or just returning home from the School Holidays, here are three PBR Podcasts to queue up!

I have included iTunes links but if you are an Android user like me, just do a search in your favourite Podcast app and you should be able to track them down.

Matt Merritt’s ROADCAST

PBR Velocity Tour Entertainer Matt Merritt hosts this weekly 45-minute podcast featuring guests from the world of Western Sports.

Previous guests have included Bull Riders, Stock Contractors, Sports Med, Rodeo Entertainers and even Matt’s family members have taken over!

Most episodes are recorded from the road, as the name ‘ROADCAST’ suggests, and with 42 episodes now available, I probably have too many favourites to single any out.

Matt West Now

The newcomer to the podcast game, PBR Announcer Matt West started his podcast late in 2018. With five episodes now available, Matt has found his groove with each episode going for about 1 hour.

Matt has just released a two-part episode featuring the three-time PBR World Champion Adriano Moraes which was recorded in New York following the first Unleash the Beast tour stop of 2019.

Adriano has had a fascinating life, and the stories he tells make this one of the best podcast episodes I have listened to. I thoroughly recommend you go back and listen to both parts.

Cowboy Sh*t with Ted and Wacey

If you have ever read an article on the PBR Canada website or Everything-Cowboy.com, chances are Ted Stovin wrote it. Ted and his roommate Wacey Anderson host this fortnightly dive into the world of Canadian western sports and the PBR.

Now in Season 2, episodes generally run for under an hour and feature lighthearted banter, news and special guests, which have included PBR personalities, NFR qualifiers and musicians.

It is always entertaining with Ted, Wacey and their guests reliving stories of shenanigans from the road in just about every episode. I have to say that this is the podcast I most look forward to downloading for the drive to work.
