PBR Australia Monster Energy Tour
For those that didn’t catch up with my posts on Social Media yesterday, the PBR Australia and ABBI Australia events that were scheduled to be held in Beaudesert, Queensland had to be called off.
The area received a considerable amount of rain overnight which turned the showgrounds complex to mud. It was difficult to walk around the event site without slipping over and I think the pictures tell the story best.
The 25th PBR: Unleash the Beast Tour
Round 1 is in the books at the Premier Tour event in Milwaukee, WI.
Lachlan Richardson was out early and made the most of it, combining with Roll of the Dice for 86.5-points. The ride was good enough to finish sixth in the round, adding 15 world points to his tally and moving up a spot into 25th in the PBR World Standings.

Nathan Burtenshaw was down early from Shootin’ Stars. The 24-year-old took a shot but seemed to get away unharmed. It was good to see him riding with a helmet on after his recent concussion issues.

Round 2 kicks off at 5am AEST Monday morning.
Richardson will face Down Draft from Curt Check Bucking Bulls. I have only been able to find a small amount of vision for this bull. He looks to be a powerful bull who gets riders back off their rope and then turns back to the left. He doesn’t appear to have a huge amount of up and down but has been ridden three times. We will have to wait and see how it plays out.
Burtenshaw will face an unridden bull from LJ Jenkins called Lucas Oil Sky High. We saw this bull out multiple times during the first half of the Unleash the Beast season with most buck off times around the 3-second mark. He can run off a little while he decides which way he wants to turn back but he always kicks hard. After drawing fast spinners for his last few, Burtenshaw might appreciate the different bucking style.
