Following a fruitful return to the PBR Velocity Tour at the Reno event over the weekend, Kurt Shephard will look to keep the ball rolling in Denver, Colorado over next few days.
The Denver PBR Chute Out at the National Western Stock Show is a three-day event. Two groups of riders will compete on the first two days of competition, semi-final style with the field trimmed to the top-30 for the final day of competition. You can catch all the action on RidePass.
EDIT: I finally tracked down a full draw for this event this morning and it looks as though Nathan Burtenshaw is also competing in Denver!

Denver Chute Out Semi-Final 2 Preview
Shephard will face off against House of Pain from 4L and Diamond S Bucking Bulls. This is a rematch from this event last year where the Aussie put up 85.50 points.
Left-handed riders have a much better record against House of Pain in his 28 recorded outs on ProBullStats. Right-handed competitors have yet to ride him while lefties have a 50% success rate. House of pain has spent the majority of his career in PCRA competition and I have not been able to find any vision of this bull on Social Media.
Burtenshaw has drawn Can’t Get Right from Flying V Bucking Bulls. I have not been able to track down any information at all on this bull. The matchup will take place in Section 3.
The field for the culmination of Round 1 is stacked with talent. Jess Lockwood, Cody Teel and Claudio Montanha Jr. all feature in the second half of the round, so if you can tune in on RidePass, make sure you don’t miss a second.

As he did in Round 1, Burtenshaw will go up against an unknown bull. Skull Face from Flying S Bucking Bulls does not have any outs listed on ProBullStats or any vision on Social Media.
