The Final Wrap – A Very Lean Weekend

Just a quick edition of The Final Wrap this week as there isn’t too much to report.

The 25th PBR: Unleash the Beast

Both Lachlan Richardson and Nathan Burtenshaw went 0-for-2 in Greensboro, North Carolina over the weekend.

Richardson was down early on both days around the 2.5-second mark with both of his bull putting up good numbers. Gangster Boy was marked 43-points in Round 1 with Zacchaeus receiving 42.5-points for his Round 2 trip.

The 24-year-old slipped back into the 28th spot on the PBR World Standings with just one regular-season event on the premier tour remaining.

Burtenshaw dropped one spot on the PBR World Standings after his pair of buck offs and is now ranked 25th. Red Snapper got the better of the Coonamble cowboy in Round 1 with a 4.38-second victory while Max Bet put up 43.25 points in his 2.35 seconds work on Championship Sunday.

Both riders will put the disappointing weekend behind them as the tour heads to Nampa, Idaho next weekend.

PBR Minor Leagues

Cliff Richardson also had a frustrating weekend, failing to record a qualified ride in either of the two events he competed in. The 27-year-old bucked off Kiss in 4.21 seconds at the Touring Pro Division event in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday. Richardson headed north on Sunday with Tykro Total winning their PBR Canada Monster Energy Tour matchup in 6.38 seconds.

Richardson drifted back one spot to occupy the 41st position on the PBR World Standings leaderboard and remains 190-points adrift of the 35th ranked Marcos Gloria.
