Aussies Abroad – 2022 PBR World Finals – Championship Weekend

The 2022 PBR World Finals resume inside Dickies Arena on Friday.

Brady Fielder finished the first weekend 1-for-3 and sits 21st in the event aggregate. The Clermont talent covered Game Over (Cooper/Scruggs/Bishop) for 84.25 points in the opening round of competition.

I will have to see how I go with updates this weekend – I will be on the road to Brisbane for PBR Origin III and then I am heading overseas on holidays for a few weeks.

Make sure you break out the Portuguese phrasebook and join Bruno and Adriano via the PBR Brazil Facebook Page to watch all the action. Hopefully they continue doing what they are doing.

Round 4

Round 4 will kick off on Friday at 11:45 am AEST and the draw has been randomly set.

Fielder will be out in the early stages of Section 3. He will take on Evan Matthews’ Long Haul.

This bull has been around for about five seasons now and has been ridden just three times. All scores have gone the way of right-handed riders with the latest recorded at the UTB event in Anaheim last season. Andrew Alvidrez was awarded 86.25 points and Joao Henrique Lucas was marked 85-points.

He tends to take a long leap out and turns back to the right which should put him right where Brady would want him.

Here is the daysheet.

Round 5

Fielder went close to posting a score yesterday but Long Haul was able to force the buck off at the 6.64 second mark.

Round 5 features the second round of the ABBI Classic competition plus a lot of handy open bulls it was a draft round. It will begin on Saturday at 11:45 am AEST.

Today he faces Test Drive from Jane Clark and Gene Owen to open up Section 3. This bulls has been ridden just once from sixteen trips and that 87.75 point score went to Rafael Henrique dos Santos in the short go at St Louis earlier this year.

Right-handers are 1-from-9 on this bull and he looks really tough to get by.

Here is the daysheet.

Round 6

The sixth round will start at 10:45 am AEST on Sunday and it is a random draw.

Here is the daysheet.

Championship Sunday

The final day begins with a a drafted Round 7 beginning at midnight on Monday AEST. The top-12 riders in the aggregate will make it back the Championship Round.
