As I mentioned in this week’s edition of The PBR Rundown, there are loads of PBR Touring Pro Division events scheduled for this weekend.
Moura’s Lawson Nobbs will be competing in three events over the weekend, so I will do my best to keep this article updated if any changes come through or more Aussie’s pop up on the daysheets.
Williston, North Dakota
Lawson Nobbs will get his weekend underway on Friday at the Williston PBR event, and he will match up with Yo Adrian! from Dakota Rodeo, Chad Berger, Clay Struve and Diamond Willow.
We saw this bull buck out twice last weekend at the Bismarck event with both cowboys hitting the dirt early. Yo Adrian! has been covered just the once from eight outs with his average buck off time sitting at 2.8 seconds. Dakota Buttar was 85.5 points on this bull at the Iron Cowboy in Los Angeles earlier this year.
Yo Adrian! has a whippy turn back to the left which brings most riders unstuck. From there, this bull looks to get stronger as the rider progresses.
Here is the daysheet for the event in Williston.
Sheridan, Wyoming
On Saturday, Nobbs will make the 350 miles trip down the road to the Forever West PBR where he will take on Dr Feel Good.
There are no outs listed on ProBullStats for this bull from Circle Nine Cattle Company, and I was unable to track down any vision on their Facebook page.
Check out the Forever West PBR Daysheet.
Binford, North Dakota
From Sheridan, the drive across to Binford is about 620 miles, and Nobbs will face No Prisoners from Dakota Rodeo, Chad Berger, Clay Struve and Heald Pro Bulls in Round 1.
This bull looks an excellent draw for Lawson. He has been out 14 times with four riders making the whistle for scores in the mid-high 80 point range. They have been as high as 91.5 points. He should turn back into Nobbs’ hand close to the chutes.
In Round 2, Nobbs will go up against the well known Southern Style from EVP Bucking Bulls.
This bull whips his head around from side to side, and his first look is always to the left. From there, he either continues his spin to the left or after about half a turn, will reverse it to the right.
It looks another friendly draw with scores in the mid 80 point range typical throughout this bulls 32 out PBR career.
Here is the Daysheet for the Binford PBR.
All times/days mentioned are AEST and check back on Monday for my Weekend PBR Wrap-Up.
