The final PBR Unleash The Beast regular-season event is upon us.
Kurt Shephard is once again the only Australian appearing on this weekend’s daysheets, and he heads to Nampa looking to improve on his No. 42 world ranking.
The 25-year-old requires around 80-points to break into World Finals qualification, however, there is loads of bull riding scheduled over the next few weeks so that line will shift north.
Checkout The PBR Rundown for broadcast times.
UPDATE: Unfortunately, Kurt Shephard has had to withdraw from this weekends UTB event in Nampa due to injury after he suffered a torn left rotator cuff in his Round 2 buck off last weekend in Greensboro. Shepherd says that he will require shoulder surgery, followed by a 4-6 month recovery phase.

Saturday
The Atherton bull rider faces Concealed Carry from Rocking R Bucking Bulls in Round 1. These two matched up at Tulsa in August for 87.25 points and a fourth-place finish in the opening round. The bull turned back to the left and into Shephard’s hand on that occasion.
While Concealed Carry can mix directions and throw in some tricks at the rider, he has a great rhythm and he looks a great draw once again.
Sunday
Check back Saturday evening for the Round 2 draw.
Make sure you stay tuned to Ride The Rage on Monday for a full wrap-up of this weeks PBR action.
