PBR Touring Pro Division Dakota Community Bank & Trust PBR Bull Riding Challenge – Bismarck, North Dakota.
It has been a few weeks since we have had an Australian rider in action overseas but that all changes this week with Lawson Nobbs (Moura, QLD) returning to PBR Touring Pro Division competition this weekend in Bismarck, North Dakota.
The 22-year-old went 3-for-6 here on home soil and added his third PBR win of the year at the Rockhampton Touring Pro. Nobbs is ranked 47th in the PBR World Standings and has ridden 56% of his bulls so far in the 2019 season.
For Aussie fans, this event will kick off at 10:00 am on Saturday, and will be live on RidePass. Day 2 will continue on Sunday at 10:00 am.

Round 1 Matchup
Nobbs will be out in Section 4 against Set ’em up Joe from Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Clay Struve/H&C Bucking Bulls.
Set ’em up Joe is a veteran bull with 92 outs recorded on ProBullStats and 25 riders have made the whistle and received a score. We have not seen him buck out for over six months, but we know what to expect from him.
The bull turns back to the right as soon as he leaves the chute and tries to dislodge the cowboy on the chance of direction back to the left. Scores are always in the mid-to-high 80 point range with a chance of going 90.

Round 2 Matchup
In Round 2, Nobbs’ will face Acting Crazy from Dakota Rodeo/Chad Berger/Clay Struve/Staci Wilks/N Bar Ranch.
This is another well-known bull with 67 outs listed on ProBullStats and 14 qualified rides recorded after Jess Lockwood rode him for 89 points in Round 1. The previous ride recorded was just a few weeks ago in Green Bay where Jesse Petri was 85.25 at the WRCA Rodeo.
He should be around to the left and into Nobbs’ hand, but it doesn’t necessarily give the Moura cowboy the upper hand. Nobbs will be out in Section 2.

PBR Canada Touring Pro Division – Falher, Alberta.
Will Purcell returns to Canada for the first time since 2016 where he rode pretty well.
EverythingCowboy’s Wacey Anderson has added Purcell to his picks for the event, so head over there for a preview of the Victorian’s Round 1 matchup.
Here is the full daysheet for Falher.
