PBR Unleash the Beast Tour
The PBR’s Unleash the Beast Tour is off to Billing, Montana this weekend for a three-day event, and so is Moura’s Lawson Nobbs. Nobbs gained this Unleash the Beast Tour start thanks to his win at last month’s Bangor Classic in Maine.
We last saw the 22-year-old on the Premier Tour at the Tacoma Invitational a few weeks back where he finished in eleventh place after finishing the weekend 1-for-3.
Nobbs enters the weekend ranked 49th on the PBR World Standings leaderboard just 127.5 points outside of the top 35.

Round 1 Matchup Preview
Nobbs will go up against Muddy Water from X over 6 Ranch on the opening night. Muddy Water is a Canadian bull that has plenty of experience and has been covered four times in his fourteen outs.
He is a big bull that appears deceptively slow but brings plenty of power around to the left. Muddy Water does have great timing which gives the rider a chance at making the whistle if he can stay in good shape past the mid-point of the ride.
Nobbs gets a great chance to get a mid to high 80 point score on the board here with a bull that will turn back into his hand.

Round 2 Matchup Preview
Nobbs faces a tougher opponent in Round 2. The unridden Cha Ching from D&H Cattle Co. and Buck Cattle Co. awaits.
Cha Ching likes to turn back to the left but doesn’t have the best timing. He has bucked off seven cowboys with most getting back from their rope early in the ride and being unable to recover.
Nobbs will need to stay in the spot and make the turn back if he is to become the first rider to hear the bell and receive a score.

Round 3 Matchup Preview
In the third round, Nobbs will go up against Chain Smoker from Broken Arrow Bucking Bulls. He has been covered twice so far this year for mid to high 80 point rides. They are the only two successful attempts in 22 outs.
Chain Smoker is a nice bull who after a big fake to the right, will give the Aussie a chance as he turns back into his hand. He is another bull that Nobbs will have to stay out over the front of as he can drift away from the chutes and you don’t want to get left behind.
