Kurt Shephard is the lone Australian competing in the USA this weekend, and he begins the weekend ranked No. 41 in the world.
The 25-year-old will compete in two events as he makes a push to gain a spot inside T-Mobile Arena at the PBR World Finals.
Checkout The PBR Rundown for broadcast times.
2019 PBR Touring Pro Division – Columbus, OH.
Shephard has withdrawn from this event and was removed from the draw early on Saturday.
Shephard will get his weekend started in the very first out of the event when he faces Midnight Mud from C.E. Taft. I have not been able to find any information on this bull.
2019 PBR Unleash The Beast Tour – Greensboro, NC.
In Round 1, the Atherton cowboy will be out against Trouble Maker from Bronco’s Bucking Bulls who has been dominated by left-handed riders in the past, and the trend should continue as long as Shephard doesn’t slip too far behind.
We have not seen this bull since the Global Cup in February, but his trips are quite consistent, and scores average around the 85.5-point mark.
Shephard’s Round 2 matchup is a lot less predictable. Colt .45 from Gene Owen and Jane Clark has allowed just one qualified ride in his career, and while he mostly turns back to the right, he does mix things up and throws a lot at the rider.
Keyshawn Whitehorse is the lone rider to hear the whistle on the bulls back, and that was for 85-points in Green Bay just before the summer break.
Check back on Monday for a full wrap-up of this weeks PBR action.
