Aussies Abroad – 1-Aug

As we saw in this week’s edition of The PBR Rundown, there are still loads of Touring Pro Division events scheduled for decision across the Pacific in North America.

There is still a heap of Aussie riders in the states who are planning on competing at these events so this article will once again be updated as the daysheets are released. If an event is not displayed, there are no Australian cowboys riding.

Friday – Brighton, Colorado – PBR Touring Pro Division

  • Ky Hamilton on Cleo’s Cloud (L4 Livestock)
    • Cleo’s Cloud has been ridden three times in his six out while Halimton heads to Colorado in good form after placing at two events last weekend.
  • Nathan Burtenshaw on Juicy Fruit (Talbert Bucking Bulls)
    • Burtenshaw will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing return to the UTB series last week. I have had a hard time identifying which Juicy Fruit this is.

Sunday – Allen, Texas – PBR Touring Pro Division

  • Josh Cavanagh on Strange Cargo (D&H Cattle Co / Gordon / OK Corralis)
    • Tough draw for Cavanagh. Strange Cargo has been covered once in ten outs and has been posting bull scores in the excellent range.
  • Nathan Burtenshaw on Boot Campaign – Lace Up America (Swinging C Cattle Co./Shadow Run Ranch)
    • I have not been able to find any information on this bull.
  • Lawson Nobbs on Rag Doll (Chase Foutch / Tom Baker)
    • We have not seen Rag Doll in PBR competition since the Velocity Tour Finals in Las Vegas last November. He was covered for 85.5 points by Colten Jesse where he was around to the left.
  • Ky Hamilton on Yippy High Yo (5G Farms / Patterson Cattle)
    • I am quite familiar with this bull. Ridden just twice from 11 PBR outs. Yippy High Yo will be around to the left and he has quite a bit of speed.

Sunday – Livingston, Montana – PBR Touring Pro Division

  • Lachlan Slade on Anthrax (EVP Bucking Bulls) – Round 1
    • This is an experienced bull that has been five times form 22 outs. After leaving the chutes, he should be around to the right at full throttle so Slade must not get left behind.
  • Lachlan Slade on Pink Tornado (Dakota Rodeo / Berger / Struve) – Round 2
    • We saw Taylor Toves put together a nice ride aboard this bull at Big Sky for 86.5 points. He has excellent timing and turns back to the right which should suit Slade perfectly.

We won’t get results for most of these events through until earlier next week so check back on Tuesday for my Weekend PBR Wrap Up!
